1. How to Apply for TORM Tanker Sponsorship| 2023:

1.1. Apply to Tolani Maritime Institute–

Begin by submitting your application to Tolani Maritime Institute, the first step towards securing sponsorship from TORM. Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute.  

1.2. Clear Entrance Exam for Tolani Maritime Institute–

Successfully passed the entrance exam conducted by Tolani Maritime Institute. This step is crucial in demonstrating your aptitude and readiness for a career in the maritime industry.

1.3. Test and Interview with TORM–

After completing your studies, TORM will facilitate your transition to practical training. You will undergo pre-sea training on TORM’s tanker vessels, gaining hands-on experience and preparing you for a fulfilling career at sea.

For the batch commencing August 2023, the all-inclusive cost of training for the one-year diploma course is Rs. 6,07,000/-. 

This fee covers tuition, boarding, lodging, uniforms, etc. Payment is accepted through online transactions or by Demand Draft.

• NIOS Board Disqualification: Individuals who completed their 12th grade through the NIOS Board are not eligible for TORM sponsorship.
• TORM does not accept improvement candidates, and individuals who have failed semester exams are also deemed ineligible.
• IMU CET Ranking Requirement: Aspiring candidates are advised to aim for an IMU CET rank below 2000 to enhance their eligibility for TORM tanker sponsorship.
