Electro Technical Officer Course Eligibility Criteria

Graduate Marine Engineering Course Eligibility Criteria

Merchant Navy Eligibility

Medical Eligibility Criteria

Physical Standards	1) Applicants must be physically fit for sea service to normal standard and with better eyesight up to 6/6.
	2) NO COLOR BLINDNESS, Partial Colour Blindness is also not acceptable.
	3) The D.G. Shipping Medical Certificate must be issued by D.G. Shipping Approved Doctors, under the specified medical examination requirements.

Registration Process

How To Apply

2. Submit the online application.
3. Receive an email with payment details for the online entrance test.
4. Make the payment for the online entrance test fees online.
5. After payment, receive a confirmation email with a URL link to book a seat for the online entrance test.
6. Choose the desired test center and date/time slot based on availability.
7. Book the seat accordingly.

Online Entrance Test

The test consists of two sections with a total duration of 3 hours.

Section 1 (Part-1): English, Aptitude, and Mechanical Engineering (2 hours, 100 marks, degree-level syllabus)

Section 2 (Part-2): Personality-based questions (1 hour)

Panel Interview

1. If shortlisted, receive an email notification to appear for a panel interview.
2. Attend the interview in formal attire with original mark sheets and certificates.
3. Selection based on merit, considering academics and extracurricular activities.

Medical Examination and Eye-Test

Undergo a medical examination and eye test conducted by company-appointed doctors.

Results are forwarded directly to the company by the doctor.

Provisional Selection Letter

• Receive a Provisional Selection Letter upon clearing the selection procedure.
• Submit required documents (10th and 12th mark sheets, graduation certificate, passport, medical fitness report, photos, and admission fees).

Offer Letter from Anglo-Eastern

Final merit list prepared based on various parameters.

Selected candidates receive an Offer Letter, joining instructions, and fee structure details.

The Anglo-Eastern group has already employed students who have registered with AEMA. Thus, AEMA students have job security even during the course and save themselves from a lot of physical and mental effort. 

Once the cadet/trainee has completed their seamanship training, they will be transferred to a ship operated by the Anglo-Eastern Group for further training.
