Best Courses and Career Options After 12th Science

Moving from Class 10 to Classes 11 and 12 opens up new career options. Students face options in Science—PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or PCMB (with Math added) of which each leading to different career paths. If you want to have Adventure at sea, excellent pay, global travel, you can choose for maritime related fields.  The various courses to pursue 1 Years (DNS) /3 Years (B. Sc.) / 4 Years (B. Tech). After class 12th, IMU conducts IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test). This is a fully fledged 4 years degree course including internship. You can get into top colleges in India by applying and cracking different exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, state‑level tests and private college exams.

3.4 BSc Biotechnology

If you have interest in different streams than above then due to the growing biotech industry, roles in research, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. It includes a degree of 3 years with internship. What Is IMU CET?

  • IMU CET: Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test
  • Purpose: Opens eligibility for all maritime courses such as DNS and BSc for Nautical Science and B. Tech Marine engineering for Engineering 
  • Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry with minimum 60% in PCM and English.
