Placement:- I recently completed the DNS course from HIMT College. I found it to be a very valuable experience. If you want to join the Merchant Navy, this is one of the ways. To join this course, you have to give the IMUCET exam, then you have to take sponsorship from companies like Synergy, Fleet, VR, etc. Only then can you join this course. The placement is 100% for this course because you are already sponsored when you join the course. The starting package will be from $500 to $600. It will increase when you get promoted.
Waiting Period:- I got my vessel after 2 months.
Training & Wellbeing:- The infrastructure of HIMT College is far better than other maritime institutions. We have VR labs where we can get a better understanding of ship structure. There are also different types of labs like SS, MEK, Electrical, and Automation. We have a SIC (ship in campus) in our campus. All classes have smart boards. AC classrooms are there. Hostel facilities are also better; rooms are in good condition with attached bathrooms. Four-seater rooms are there for the DNS course.

Placement:- The B.Sc batch of 2024 saw 90% placement. The major recruiters are Damico, MOL, MOLTA, Eastaway, Marshal Shipping, Sanmar, etc. I am glad to have been placed in Sanmar Shipping with a starting package of 60,000. If you stay all clear throughout your semesters, you will definitely get placed.

Training & Wellbeing:- The institute has air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi in cadets\' accommodation, playground, gym, swimming pool, etc. We have a ship on campus with all auxiliary machines, virtual reality labs, and steering simulator labs. The institute has a green lush campus with a cool atmosphere. There are a lot of facilities for indoor and outdoor games.

Placement:- Within first 2 months of our course, 60% of our classmates were placed. The average package starts from $500, $600, or $750 per month, depending on the company. The top recruiting companies in our college are Maersk, MSC, BSM, Synergy, OSM, and Thome.
Waiting Period:- I got my first ship in 1 month after passing out.
Training & Wellbeing:- The infrastructure of our college is really good; I love it. The academic classrooms are air-conditioned, and the labs have all the necessary facilities for learning. We also have a Ship in Campus (SIC) lab, which makes you feel like you are inside a ship, with everything exactly as it is on a real ship. The sports facilities are also good, and they will train you for tournaments. The food is very hygienic, and the mess room is always kept clean. We have a hospital on campus, and there are many games available, along with a very good gym.

Placement:- The companies that came for recruiting were Maersk, BSM, MSC, DYNACOM, and many more, providing good takeaways from HIMT College. 80% of students were placed inside the campus while studying, and the rest also got placed due to the chances they missed in previous interviews.

Training & Wellbeing:- Here, we have very good infrastructure provided in a marine college. We have excellent labs and classrooms for study. The canteen is well maintained, and medical facilities are available daily to monitor the cadets who are sick.
